GeneralListeners to the Radio Reading Services come from every part of New Zealand. We have tried to organise local branches in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. Our aim is to reach all of New Zealand with the Radio Reading Service. We wanted to achieve a small network of facilities turning print into sound for people who do not have access to the printed word.
Our Australian 'RPH' colleagues whom have helped and encouraged us provide excellent examples for us to follow. "RPH" stations operate as separate stand alone radio stations and are heard in:- Perth 990 AM - www.inforadio.com.au/ Adelaide 1197 AM - http://www.rphadelaide.org.au/ Hobart 864 AM - http://www.7rph.org.au/ Canberra 1125 AM - http://www.radio1rph.org.au/ Sydney 1224 AM - www.2rph.org.au Melbourne 1179 AM - http://www.visionaustralia.org.au/ Mildura on 107.5 FM Albury/Wodonga on 101.7 FM Shepparton on 100.1 FM Bendigo on 88.7 FM Geelong on 99.5 FM More information about the International Association Of Audio Information Services of which this station is a member, can be found at www.iaais.org
